Open spaces, wild places – fresh air awaits!

Friends, spring is in the air and we absolutely cannot wait to get outdoors and start breathing in that sweet, fresh air every chance we get.

Whether we’re walking the dog or playing lawn bowls (don’t knock it till ya try it), there are so many fun ways to get outside, soak up the sun (with sunscreen, please), move your body, and feel the grounding presence of the earth.

Today we’re bringing you a list of some of the best ways to explore open spaces and wild places, and enjoy the fresh Aussie air.

1. Outdoor yoga in the park

Here’s a not-so-secret secret – yoga doesn’t have to be done indoors. You can easily take your yoga mat to the park for some refreshing outdoor yoga. Imagine doing your Downward Dog or Warrior Pose with blue skies above and the grass under your toes. You'll not only stretch and flex your muscles but also soak in all the fresh air around you.
2. Paddleboarding

As the weather warms up, getting out on the water for a paddleboarding session is a must. Not only is it a killer workout for your core and arms, but there's something supremely calming about being on the water; balancing on a board, paddling across a calm lake, the sun kissing your nose and shoulders… pure bliss, no? Kayaking and surfing are great options too!
3. Going for a run

Running is a classic way to get your blood pumping and lungs filled with fresh air. Forget the treadmill; hit the trails, the beach, or your local park. Running outdoors provides a seriously dynamic landscape—each step bringing a new view, a new scent, or a new experience. Plus, it's a great way to explore your local area.
4. Hiking

For those who love a good adventure, hiking is your golden ticket. Whether it's a short casual day-hike or a full-on weekender, hiking is one of the best ways to breathe in that sweet, sweet outdoor air. From navigating mixed terrain to spotting new and diverse wildlife and incredible natural landscapes – not knowing what’s around the next bend makes hiking such an endlessly rewarding experience.
5. Lawn Bowls

Looking for a more laid-back, social experience closer to home? Try lawn bowls. It's a sport that combines skill, strategy, and a good old sense of community. Set on well-maintained greens, lawn bowls are a fantastic way to spend a sunny afternoon. You’ll be outdoors, chatting, laughing, and yes, flexing those strategic muscles in your brain as well as your arms.
6. Frisbee

Who says Frisbee is just for the beach or a backyard barbecue? It's also a terrific way to enjoy the great outdoors. Whether you're doing it competitively, like Ultimate Frisbee, or just tossing it around with friends, you're guaranteed to have a blast. It's a casual, yet active way to get some sunlight and let the good times roll.

Alright, we’ve given you some inspo, now it’s time to pick your fave and get outdoors. The world is your playground, and it's calling you to come out and play!

Enjoy the air – breathe deeply!
