How to create a DIY outdoor movie night 🎥✨

Step 1: The Screen Setup

No cinema under the stars is complete without a great screen. You can go fancy with a portable projector screen, or keep it basic with a plain white sheet (no wrinkles, though!) Position it against a flat surface, like a wall or fence, and let the movie magic unfold.

Step 2: The Projector & Audio

Here’s a ‘lil secret: projectors don’t have to be high-tech to be good. You can nab a cheapie off Amazon or Kogan for less than $100! And when you consider the cost of a movie ticket these days, it’s worth the investment, no?

Depending on your setup, portable speakers might do the trick. Just keep the volume considerate – we're aiming for 'fun night in', not 'neighbourhood noise complaint'.

Step 3: Seating

Here’s where the real fun begins. From bean bags to picnic blankets, and inflatable lounge chairs to, of course, your Nakie hammock, there are plenty of ways to get comfy outdoors. Throw in some pillows and blankets for that extra cosy factor and you’re ready to go.

Arguably more important than the screen, projector and seating combined, your snack choices will make or break your movie experience. It’s not “the movies” without delish snacks, right?
